Ski groomed or back country trails. Take a lesson or hire a guide. Rent equipment or bring your own. Many resorts offer day use and vacation packages complete with accommodations, groomed trails, ski and snowcoach tours, rentals and ice skating. Or rent a rustic cabin from the Forest Service for a back country adventure. Cross-country ski season runs December to April in Yellowstone Country. Remember...If you're skiing without a guide,, have a thorough knowledge of the area, the weather, your equipment and your stamina. Carry extra dry clothing, food, water, maps, matches, and first aid and ski repair kits for a safe trip through this incredible country.
